inspiration.

Welcome to the new and improved amymaypaper.com. When i first started amp a little less than a year ago there were so many details to think about. Starting your own business is so much more than I ever imagined it would be; so much more in every sense of the word. It was so much more work, so much more rewarding, so much more time... the list goes on and on. I was so eager to get amp up and running; to have products to sell, and a website for clients to visit - that when things finally calmed down {and my new business to do list wasn't quite so long} I was able to take a long hard look at the online portrayal of amp.  Unfortunately, I was not as happy with the site as I had hoped I would be. Don't get me wrong, the fact that I had a website and products to sell thrilled me, but the details weren't quite right. Starting a business, at least for me, was equal parts exciting and completely overwhelming {i have  a whole different blog post brewing on this topic -- stay tuned!). I wanted the site to look like me - to feel like me. I wanted people who knew me to think that my site, and my brand for that matter, was a reflection of my personal style and aesthetic. I quickly found that sometimes the easiest way to get all your ideas into one space is to create your very own little inspiration board.

And so the process began to make the outside look like the inside and I am so so so thrilled with how it turned out. I knew I wanted to have some professional photos done that would again go well with my aesthetic and my brand and y'all..... Alyssa Rosenheck saved the day. She truly is as darling as she is talented. I really cannot wrap my head around how someone is so talented in so many different areas. She took all my thoughts, designs, work and like magic made it all come together in the most delicate, beautiful, amazing way possible. She not only took all the amazing photos- she also helped me decide on an overall look and color palette, and styled every single piece to perfection. Once I received the photos back I instantly felt like my brand finally matched me {inset hallelujah chorus and happy dances a plenty}. I cannot thank sweet Alyssa enough for all her time, talent, and the many laughs we shared during the process.

All the time, hard work, and energy was so worth it in the end. To have something that reflects you while highlighting your work is an amazing feeling. So friends, let me re-introduce you to www.amymaypaper.com. I hope, in looking through the site, you get a glimpse into who I am, my passion for this amazing craft, and the love i put into each and every project that comes through the door.
