Every project is such a joy to be a part of and they are all unique in their own way. I so enjoy learning your stories, hearing about your grooms - how they proposed, or the details on your dear friends first baby shower, the fun you are planning for your grandparents golden anniversary party...Each project I am able to be a part of reminds me how lucky I am to call this work and how sweet this life truly is. Although each project will look a little different - the general process is listed below- Feel free to complete the contact form with any additional questions! 

Step One: 

We talk through the details of your event and how Amy May Paper can create something custom and perfectly tailored to you. Once we have chatted through all the details I will send you a quote suited to your project for your review.

Step Two: 

Once you have decided that you would like to move forward with the project I will send over a contract for your review and at this time will collect the deposit for the project. The deposit is 50% of the total project cost. The remaining balance is due when the project is completed and the pieces are ready to be sent your way.

Step Three:

If you have not decided on a style yet please pop on over the the styles page and take a look to see which style fits your event, personality, or custom piece best! If you have your heart set on something you do not see I am happy to chat though bringing your idea to life! 

Step Four:

Now its time for me to get to work! Once I collect all the pieces for your project the fun begins. I require a 20% materials allowance for any errors, additions, or ink drops {we are all human :)} and will gladly return all unused materials upon completion of the project. At this point I will also need all information provided in excel format (spelled out exactly as you want the names, addresses, etc.) to appear on your envelopes/event pieces. For this portion of the process I will send you a template to put all of your guests' information into. For a template on how to submit your guest list click here. It is the clients responsibility to cover the cost of shipping materials to and from their location to mine.

Step Five:

Now you get to ohhh and ahhhh over your paper goodies! Once your final payment is received your calligraphy is on its way ! Thank you so much for allowing Amy May Paper to be a small part of this special time in your life. Xo!
